Faith & Motives

I confess, my weakest moments of faith usually surround finances.  I don't know what it is, but I can have faith about a decision or a direction in my life, but when it comes to money, I become anxious.  In my experience, no matter how little I've had or in times of blessings, I still wonder "is it enough?".  This feeling hasn't changed... Until recently.

Through daily devotions and daily commitments to myself that I do in #TodayIWill, I have learned faith.  I have practiced it and God has provided every time.  As Matthew 7:7 says, ask & it will be given to you, seek & you will find, knock & the door will be opened.  Every time I have asked, sought, & knocked with a heart posture totally focused on love and God's will, he has kicked the door down. Gods answers are tied to our motives and our faith. In the verse right before this in Matthew 7:6, Jesus says keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking.  Without faith & belief that God will provide, Matthew 7:7 cannot be activated.

When we get ourselves aligned with His will and then trust it, we get emails out of the blue.  We get FB messages out of the blue, we are put in places with people that change the trajectory of our lives.  Keep knocking with a faithful, true heart and watch things change.  Let's GO!
